About
VOLS and Elsa du Plessis
A centre for visual development and learning, led by the person who has done this work since 1988.
VOLS is the Visuele Ontwikkeling en Leersentrum — in English, the Visual Development and Learning Centre. It was founded and is led by Elsa du Plessis.
Her visual-perceptual development programme has run since 1988. More than 5,000 children have completed it. The programme is also offered in London.
The centre holds two things together. Art of Seeing carries the scientific content. The Perceptual Play Cards, and the desktop programme Elsa Protocol, carry the practical activities.
